Last Friday, November 25, we attended the T.I.M.E.S event, organized by ESTIEM (European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management, an organization founded in 1990 that includes more than 60,000 students in 29 countries and 72 universities. As they say on their website, web, They organized the «European Industrial and Organization Engineering Students» Network", which is "the only continental European network connecting Industrial Engineering and Organization students. The main objective is to establish and promote relationships between industrial students from all over Europe and provide them with support in their personal and professional development" ).
T.I.M.E.S is a Management and Engineering Skills competition. Every year, 1,400 IEM students in 350 teams compete in one of Europe’s largest case-study tournaments for the title of “IEM Students of the Year.”
This event brings together talented students, where they are given the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and skills, developing their practical case.
The tournament took place in three phases; the first two consisted of selecting two finalist teams, which then competed against each other to decide the overall winner, announced in the third and final phase.
This final team is the one that will represent the ETSI (Higher Technical School of Engineering) of Seville in the European competition, which, as it happens, we are fortunate and pleased to be hosting here as well this year.
A day full of emotion and very rewarding.
From Vaguada Capital, we have nothing but kind words and thanks.
We loved being part of the jury of this great competition, where we got to see future engineers who will surely go far!
From here, I would like to thank you for your magnificent planning, kindness and attention to all the organizers of the T.I.M.E.S event, who are part of ESTIEM, and of course to all the members of the groups, who, although they were not the winners, delivered above and beyond expectations.
Congratulations to the winning team!
We hope you defend your work just as well in the European final.
Good luck!
“In high ESTIEM”
